She holds a PhD in Law from FGV Direito SP (2024), a Master's degree in Criminal Law from the University of São Paulo (2014), and a Bachelor's degree in Law from FGV Direito SP (2009). She is a professor of Criminal Law at FGV Direito SP.
With over fifteen years of experience in criminal law, she was a partner at the law firm Toron Advogados, where she worked on highly complex and nationally significant cases, encompassing both the technical defense of individuals and legal entities and the preparation of legal opinions.
She is the author of the books “Equal Punishments for Equal Crimes: Studies on Equality and Proportionality in the Application of Criminal Punishment” and “Convicts: The Execution of Sentences in Sexual Crimes”.
She is a member of the Deliberative Council of the Institute for the Defense of the Right to Defense (IDDD) and coordinator of the “Right to Defense in the Jury Trial” Project.
